Don't Forget Me

Don’t Forget Me is a character and relationships focused LARP for 5 players and a GM. 

It is a story about memory, and how we cope with the past. 
 

Player Introduction:

Around 5 years ago people first discovered the existence of strange alien artifacts. No one saw them arrive, but they were found around the same time on all continents. They seemed to be made of a dark brown, glasslike material, and varied much in shape and size. Some were as small as a pebble, a few were the size of an entire building. The strangest and least understood of all the artifacts that were discovered were what came to be known as the chambers. Dark boxes the size of an entire room, they were the only places that writing had been discovered, the only clue to understanding the language and culture their builders. Little news escaped the research facilities where the various chambers were being stored and studied. Rumours abounded. Chief among them was the rumour that the chambers had some effect on memory. A number of researchers claimed to have had their memory wiped. People disagreed on whether this was an effect of the chamber or the result of some conspiracy to prevent the researchers revealing what they had discovered.

Others claimed that the chambers were nothing more than an elaborate hoax.

Whatever mystery awaits in there, you are about to find out. Lee’s pass to the facility still works. The 5 of you made your way to the entrance to the chamber; an opaque brown glasslike material. In front of the entrance a large sign was posted: Extreme Danger! Limit of one researcher permitted inside at a time. Do not enter accompanied. Operating procedures must be strictly followed at all times.

You went in. And the door sealed silently behind you. No sign of a handle or any way to open it from the inside. So that was it. You’re going to find out what this place is, one way or another.
